The Brief

We’ve been working with Spinnaker Tower since 2021 across their Google and Social PPC accounts and were thrilled to expand the scope of work we deliver, supporting the launch of their newest experience, The Sky Bar. Located 500ft off the ground, The Sky Bar offers a selection of hand-crafted cocktails, which can be enjoyed while taking in the incredible 23-mile view across Portsmouth and the Solent. 

The Campaign

A social media presence is crucial for consumer experience and as The Sky Bar has an entirely different audience compared to Spinnaker Tower’s usual demographic the first point of call was to create completely separate Facebook and Instagram accounts showcasing the Sky Bar offering and start to deliver the strong visual teaser campaign.

Preparing a powerful PPC strategy, we delved into the different types of media we could use across the platforms, including: graphics, video and photography. We looked at how this could best be presented in bite size teasers, to not only drive bookings for the experience, but also to build a loyal following on both of the new platforms.

Ginger achieved incredible results over the three-week launch campaign, including over half a million ad impressions and over 1,500 social media page likes/follows. In addition, the pages were flooded with reactions and comments and the Spinnaker team are currently accommodating over 600 pre-bookings.
