Gillies Branch into New Demographic Groups
We have been managing Gillies, Google Ads account for many years, so when they came to us looking to explore their different target audiences we got to work.
With the help of design studio Avian, also part of ALTAR Group, several asset banks were created, aimed at different demographics, to be tested across the Google Display Network. The ads ran for just over two months and generated more than 1.5 million impressions in total across the three age groups, resulting in a 40% increase in traffic to the website.
Even though the older demographics came out on top, which was expected, the A/B test has revealed the routes that can be used to communicate their ranges to a wider audience going forward.
