The Brief
Christmas arrived ahead of schedule for our valued clients, The Coronation Street Experience and The Emmerdale Village Tour. In early October, the sets for the famous soaps were dressed for the filming of the festive episodes. Granting visitors a unique opportunity to embrace the holiday spirit ahead of time, and providing an exclusive glimpse into what the renowned Christmas episodes may have in store.
The Campaign
Crafting a strong paid social strategy, we explored various media types across platforms. Our goal was to offer a preview while still maintaining the exclusivity of the unique opportunity. This involved strategically leveraging photography, reels, and graphics. We carefully considered how to present these elements alongside compelling copy, not only to convey the limited-time visitors had to visit the sets in all their festive glory, but also to boost bookings on both websites.
Ginger achieved remarkable results during the three-week campaign, gathering over a quarter of a million ad impressions and securing over 4,000 page engagements for their respective social accounts. Notably, the cost per conversion was an impressive 75% lower than industry benchmarks, meaning there was plenty of bang for their buck.
