The Brief

We worked with Jamie Scott last year and so we were thrilled when he got in touch asking for support from  ALTAR Group around the launch of his newest eatery, Sandbanks Brasserie. Located in Broughty Ferry, Sandbanks offers a seaside dining experience in a relaxed setting, and boasts a menu full of flavour using local ingredients.

The launch brought together all parts of ALTAR Group: Avian delivered sleek branding, signage and menus, Blue2 designed their attractive website, Ginger handled the communication strategy.

The Campaign

Crafting a powerful communication strategy, we delved into both traditional and digital worlds with a campaign spanning media relations and social media.

Utilising our lifestyle and food journalist connections throughout Tayside and beyond, we secured coverage in publications including The Scotsman, The Herald, The Courier and Hood Magazine, placing the story directly in front of the target audience.

A social media presence is crucial for hospitality businesses, and so we set up relevant channels along with an engaging content plan that pushed key messages.

The whole campaign was delivered within a week showing our ability to be agile when clients need us to be. The proof is in the pudding – our robust strategy was fruitful in achieving incredible results, including reach of over 60,000 and over 10,000 social media page visits. On top of that, the pages were flooded with follows, reactions and comments.
